Vipers CHEER

Victory Vipers is a quality All - Star Cheerleading program for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 18 that offers children of all ability levels the opportunity to participate at both the local, regional, and national levels. Victory Vipers are well known all over Houston, throughout Texas and across the United States as VERY dangerous competitors. Our stellar tumbling, rock solid stunting, and creative choreography have been impressing audiences now for 12 competitive seasons and have led the Vipers to VICTORY time and time again. We believe that being a part of our competitive Viper program will enhance children's self-esteem and interpersonal skills, increase children's sense of belonging through teamwork and teach them how to handle adversity through success and setbacks. CHEER AND TUMBLE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS - (Listed in order from beginner to advanced):

Beginning Tumble & Cheer (Ages 5 & older) - This class will focus on the basics of rolls, hand stands, bridge ups, cartwheels and round offs.  They will also be introduced to beginning jumps, cheers and motions.  This class is recommended for kids who are in kindergarten and older.

Intermediate Tumble & Cheer – Ages 5 & older - This class is for kids who can do a cartwheel successfully and independently.  They should be able to do a bridge up with strong straight arms.  Kids in this class should be familiar with round offs and are working on making them stronger.  The kids in this class should be ready to begin working seriously on more difficult skills such as walkovers and back hand springs.  Jumps, motions and stunts will be worked on.

Advanced Tumble & Cheer – Performance Class (Ages 6 & up) -This class is for children who have been in classes for several sessions.  They will work on round off back handsprings with more independence as well as front walkovers leading into other skills and back hand spring series.  This class will perform 2 times during the semester at local venues.  Their performances will be a combination of tumbling and cheerleading skills.  Their performance outfit will be their class uniform.  To register for this class you must have approval by Vicki only.  This is the perfect class for kids who are considering competitive cheering in the future.  Vickidill8@aol.com if you have questions about this class.  A wonderful addition to this class would be to sign up for a Level 2 Tumbling class.
